On behalf of the Maryland Department of the Environment, Maryland Environmental Service operates a statewide program that makes it easy to dispose of used oil and antifreeze.

Did you know that the used oil from one oil change can contaminate one million gallons of fresh water? That's a year supply for 50 people. The used oil program is free to use and good for the environment. Illegal dumping of used oil and antifreeze harms our environment.

For more information, please contact our Used Oil & Antifreeze Recycling Division or call 1-800-473-2925.
