Melissa Slatnick
Managing Director, Technical and Environmental Services
Melissa Slatnick is a skilled environmental professional with more than 25 years of experience managing environmental staff, contracts, and projects. Since joining MES in 1997, Ms. Slatnick has held multiple roles, most recently serving as Acting Division Chief of MES’ Environmental Dredging and Restoration division. In these positions, she has had extensive experience managing a staff of environmental, engineering, and operations professionals on a variety of projects throughout the planning, construction, and operations phases. In her role as Managing Director of the Technical and Environmental Services division, Ms. Slatnick oversees multi-disciplinary environmental planning; environmental monitoring and maintenance; geospatial; and renewable energy services projects throughout the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. In addition to possessing considerable technical proficiencies, Ms. Slatnick places a high value on staff development and client and customer service.
Ms. Slatnick holds a BS in Environmental Geology from Towson University and an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University.
