The MES Reform Act of 2021 – Senate Bill 2 (signed into law as Chapter 72, Acts of 2021) made overarching changes to the governance and administration of MES. Governor Hogan signed the bill into law on April 13, 2021, and the bill took effect on July 1, 2021.
