At the heart of Maryland Environmental Service’s mission is our commitment to achieving the highest standards in environmental stewardship, responsibility, and accountability.
In order to achieve the highest standards in environmental protection at all of our projects, the MES Environmental Compliance Program implements review and operational oversight to ensure sites and employees meet environmental requirements and improve the overall performance of MES.
Our Environmental Compliance Program requires that MES and its employees comply with all federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and permits. We work diligently to ensure MES policies, standards, and work products meet or exceed all legal requirements for environmental compliance.
MES offers an array of experience working with clients, contractors, regulators, neighbors, and other partners to meet or exceed environmental requirements and promote environmental education. In addition, the Environmental Compliance staff can provide independent environmental auditing services and environmental consulting services for our clients.
