MES operates two of the largest composting facilities in the State of Maryland. The operations, located in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties turn yard and food waste into Leafgro® and Leafgro GOLD®, popular soil amendment products sold in bags and bulk form at retailers throughout Maryland. MES also assumed all of Harford County’s composting services in 2015.
