Leafgro® is composed of yard waste: primarily grass clippings and leaves. Leafgro GOLD® is composed of composted yard waste and recycled food scraps.
Yes! Neither Leafgro® nor Leafgro GOLD® contains harmful materials, and both are safe to use in vegetable gardens.
Yes! Leafgro® is tested under the requirements laid out by the US Composting Council (USCC) and has been given its Seal of Testing Assurance (STA). Composts that are STA certified must meet rigorous testing requirements to make sure that the compost is a safe, reliable, and high-quality product that consumers can be confident in using.

Yes! Both Leafgro® and Leafgro GOLD® are safe to use around pets and children.
Yes, but it isn’t recommended. While mulch is typically used to suppress plant growth (i.e., control weeds), Leafgro® products promote and encourage growth.
It is best to mix the Leafgro® 50/50 with the existing soil. That way, when the growing roots extend to reach the original soil, it won’t be foreign to them.
